Clear information about fees, payment, insurance benefits, and getting started.
Fees
My practice is private pay, with straightforward fees and no surprises about the cost of care. Weekly and biweekly scheduling are available.
| Service | Fee |
|---|---|
| Free consultation (15 minutes) | $0 |
| Individual therapy (50 minutes) | $185 |
| Financial therapy (50 minutes) | $200 |
| Parent session (30 minutes) | $110 |
Coordination with schools, pediatricians, and other providers is billed at the session rate, prorated in 15-minute increments. Brief check-ins are complimentary.
Payment
Credit and debit cards, HSA cards, and FSA cards are accepted. Payment is due at the time of service.
Using your insurance benefits
Much of what I offer, including financial therapy, support navigating school concerns and working with school staff, and help with life transitions, doesn’t fit neatly into what insurance covers. Insurance requires a mental health diagnosis for every client and often limits how often or how long you can be seen. Private pay gives us more flexibility to work together without requiring a formal diagnosis.
Working outside insurance lets me offer care shaped around your goals instead of insurance requirements: flexible scheduling, a focus on the changes you want to make, and more privacy about your records. Many clients use HSA/FSA funds, and if your plan has out-of-network benefits, I can provide superbills for possible reimbursement.
Want to use your out-of-network benefits?
Many PPO plans reimburse part of the cost of therapy with an out-of-network provider. If you’d like to use those benefits, I partner with Thrizer, a platform that handles the insurance claims for you and, for many clients, reduces what you pay at the time of your session.
It’s entirely optional. Plenty of clients simply pay directly, and that works just as well. If you’re curious whether your plan offers out-of-network coverage, you can check below. It takes about two minutes and doesn’t commit you to anything.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why don’t you take insurance?
Private pay allows care to be shaped around your needs rather than insurer requirements. It also offers greater privacy, flexible session frequency, and no need for a diagnosis on file unless it is clinically appropriate or desired for superbills.
How do I know if we’re a good fit?
Start with a free 15-minute consultation. It’s a no-pressure conversation about what brings you in and whether this practice is the right fit. If not, I’ll help you identify next steps.
How long does therapy take?
It varies. Some clients come for a focused period of a few months, while others prefer longer-term support. We’ll check in on progress regularly and adjust your plan as needed.
Where are you located?
Sessions are available in Downtown Littleton and throughout Colorado by telehealth. In-person services are available to clients in the surrounding area.
What if I’m in crisis?
This practice is not a crisis service. If you’re in crisis, call or text 988, contact Colorado Crisis Services at 1-844-493-8255, or go to your nearest emergency room.
